The singer who brought you her sexy workout-inspired moves in Kanye's "Fade" music video is adding sneaker designer to her resume
Remember when Teyana Taylor stole the spotlight from Kanye at the VMA's with her sexy workout-inspired routine, causing the world to drop their jaws almost as much as when Drake confessed his love to Rihanna? Yep. It's hard to forget. Although the 25-year-old singer claims she doesn't do 'hardcore workouts' and was basically born with a six-pack (sigh), her moves and insane body had Twitter buzzing.
But, beyond appearing in the new "Fade" music video, you may not have known that Teyana is also a sneaker fanatic who has a passion for designing (so you can add that to her list of bragging rights on top of her obviously gifted genetics). Teyana already collaborated with adidas Originals on a sneaker back in 2013 and Ewing Athletics last year, and she's back at it again.
Today, Teyana launched her 'Question Mid Teyana T' sneaker with Reebok, an all-red sneaker that reimagines Allen Iverson's iconic Question Mid sneaker from back in the day. The Harlem native and self-proclaimed tomboy's childhood, teen years, and adulthood have been shaped by her passion for sneakers.
The sporty sneaks incorporate Teyana's love of fashion, and feature a 'luxurious reptile print to exude a level of luxury'. (Reebok says the bold red and blue outsole combo is intended to be a nod to Allen Iverson, the colors of Philly, and the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Question Mid.)
We can't wait for the sporty, dance-inspired workout line that's sure to be coming from Tayana next...
