Fitness philosophy: I have a motto I really like: "Can't go wrong with strong!" Getting stronger on basic compound movements with great technique will help you achieve just about any fitness goal you have, whether it's to build muscle, lose fat, feel better, move better, or perform better. It all starts with a good foundation of strength.
Pushups before exhaustion: 85-90
No.1 pet peeve in the gym: Laziness, no question. It amazes me how many people just go through the motions.
Power song: "Already" by DMX
Relationship status: Single (Want his number? Just ask!)
Favorite qualities in a woman: Passion. I love a woman who is passionate about life. I don't really care what it is they're passionate about so much, but passion in general is contagious. And a good sense of humor. I don't take myself too seriously, so that's key.
"Girly" workout I secretly love: I use Valslides a lot with my own training—the pinks ones, in fact. I used to think these were girly, but I've found ways to make them pretty freakin' hard.
Favorite chick flick: Pretty Woman, though I'd deny it under oath
