Stand with feet hip-width apart and arms in front of body, firmly grasping one rope in each hand using an overhand grip. Extend arms, lifting the ropes above shoulders.

Slam ropes onto the ground, hinging at hips and bending knees to build force. Straighten legs to return to starting position.
