How do tennis players like Serena and Venus Williams and Maria Sharapova get fueled for optimum performance before a tennis match? US Open Executive Chef Michael Lockard, the man who is responsible for keeping all the top tennis players fed throughout the US Open, shares their favorite pre-match meals exclusively with Shape.com.

This year, Chef Michael is serving up US Open contenders Venus Williams, Melanie Oudin, Caroline Wozniacki, Kim Clijsters, Maria Sharapova, Vera Zvonereva and Francesca Schiavone. Although they're not competing in this year's US Open, Serena Williams, Lindsay Davenport and many other top tennis players have also worked with him.
