Reebok found the top 10 gym pet peeves, and some of them might surprise you.
Every fitness lover has at least one thing that really bothers her in the gym: people hogging the squat rack, not wiping down the machines, talking on the phone, the list goes on. But everyone has slightly different opinions about what's the worst, so Reebok conducted a survey of women and men ages 16 to 44 to find the most commonly held pet peeves when it comes to gym behavior. The top 10 most common responses will either have you getting defensive or nodding in agreement.
Coming in at number one: leaving your plates out after using them. Seventy-six percent of people said it bothered them. The finding makes sense; as a general rule, no one's ever thrilled about having to pick up after someone. Next up is not wiping down equipment, because germs. Here's the full list.
Surprisingly, taking mirror pics only irked 33 percent of participants, and it didn't make the top 10. Some others that didn't make the list: using the treadmill right next to someone when others are open, filming videos, and taking shoes off while stretching. It makes sense that people are more likely to get worked up over things that affect them personally (sitting on a machine when not using it, monopolizing a locker room bench) than things that don't (selfies, texting).
So go ahead and snap that selfie.
