Aptly nicknamed the “The Silent Assasin” by his friends, 24-year-old Marcus Hendren has a knack for surprising everyone with his killer workouts. Last year the rookie not only placed 11th at the Central East Regionals, he also set an event record, completing four rounds of two 15-foot rope climbs, a 100-foot sprint, and four squat cleans (225 pounds each) faster than two-time defending CrossFit Games champion Rich Froning and 2010 winner Graham Holmberg. At the Games, the 5'10", 198-pound Ohio underdog crushed it again, earning seventh overall. His fit-losphy: “Have faith in your future, then move your legs as fast as your hope will allow.”
