The Anti-Running Treadmill Workout for Total-Body Toning

But this fat-blasting routine from Anna Kaiser, founder of AKT InMotion in NYC and celebrity trainer to stars like Shakira and Sarah Jessica Parker, will transform the way you think about treadmills. In fact, they just might become your new favorite machine at the gym.

Kaiser designed her latest workout—AKTread—for her busy clients on the go. All you need is a treadmill, and you'll get a serious cardio and strength workout. Just do each move in order for 1 minute, then repeat the circuit 2-3 times (or more if you’re feeling good!). “Go as slowly as necessary to feel comfortable,” says Kaiser, “then rev up the speed and reps as they get easier.”
