Stand with feet hip-width apart and place your hiking poles across your upper back. Hold poles with hands wide, palms facing forward. Pull abs in and raise left knee to hip height in front of you.

Find your balance, then slowly twist your torso to the left. Return to the starting position (lower leg) and switch sides. Do 8 to 10 reps to each side.
