Stand with right side next to a pole, right foot on top of one end of a resistance tube. Place left foot next to right (so tube is between them) and grasp pole with right had at shoulder height. Straighten arm and lean out so body is angled 45 degrees from the floor.
Hold other handle of the resistance tube with left hand, arm at side (the band should be taut) and palm facing thigh.
B
Raise left arm out to shoulder height. Lower and repeat.
Trainer's Tip
To prevent shrugging—which allows your back to pitch in, decreasing the workload on your delts—draw your shoulders away from your ears and lengthen your neck.
