Rev up your workout routines with Superman-style push up exercises.


Start out your push up routines by holding a dumbbell in each hand. Next position yourself on the ground in the standard push-up stance.


Fitness tips to make the workout easier: you should have your knees on the ground. Be sure that your hands are aligned with your shoulders. You should also have your palms facing your legs. Bend your elbows to lower your chest toward the ground while keeping your body straight. It is important that you do not let your hips pop up or allow your back to arch.

To continue this move, press up and extend your left arm forward with your palm facing down. When your arm reaches its highest point, your arm should be in line with your torso. Next, lower your hand back to the starting position to complete 1 rep.


To complete the next rep you will work the other arm. Start by repeating the push-up, this time extending your right arm forward. Continue, alternating sides with every other push-up to reap the full benefits of this exercise. Push up exercise routines are an effective conditioning tool when you want to focus on your triceps, shoulders and chest.
