Sweet vanilla and basil contrast with spicy bourbon for a nice change from fruity drinks.
- 2 parts Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
- 1 part simple syrup
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- 1-inch piece vanilla bean
- 5 basil leaves
- 1 sprig basil, for garnish
Combine all ingredients except garnish in a blender and pulse until ice is pea-sized. Pour into a rocks glass and garnish with basil sprig.
