Crockpot Cranberry Applesauce
9. Cranberry Applesauce
This quick and easy recipe is sugar- and preservative-free and full of antioxidant-rich cranberries and apples.

Ingredients:

4 pounds (approximately 12) apples, peeled, cored, and quartered
1 cup fresh cranberries
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Add apples and cranberries to Crockpot. Pour water over top of ingredients. (If you want to make it sweeter or add in cinnamon, add in desired amour of sugar, brown sugar, or cinnamon now). Place lid on Crockpot. Turn heat to low and cook for 6 hours. Remove lid and stir. This will break up the apples and cranberries that may still be in large pieces. Serve as is, or use a stick blender (or regular blender) to smooth it out.
