The only thing better than how this dessert makes your house smell is how it tastes. Prep it ahead of time and let it bake while you’re eating dinner.

Appropriate for: clean, high-fiber, vegan, vegetarian diets


  • For filling:
  • 1 small bartlett pear, diced
  • 1 small Granny Smith apple, diced
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • For topping:
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup whole-wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon coconut oil



1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. In a small bowl, mix together pears, apples, maple syrup, and lemon juice. Place fruit filling in two 6-ounce ramekins.
3. In a separate bowl mix together topping ingredients until well blended. (Topping should be moist and crumbly.) Sprinkle mixture on top of filling. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or cold.
