Ingredients:

  • 8 cups low-sodium, fat-free chicken broth
  • 1 cup alphabet pasta (or any small pasta)
  • 1 15-ounce can cut green beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 11-ounce can white corn, rinsed and drained
  • 1 15-ounce can black or white beans, rinsed and drained
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Directions:

1. Place broth in a medium pot and bring to a boil.

2. Add pasta and cook until pasta is al dente, about 5 minutes.

3. Add green beans, corn, and beans (black or white). Simmer 2 minutes to heat through. Taste and adjust seasonings with salt and pepper.

Nutritional information includes 1/8 teaspoon of added salt per serving.
