Bethenny Frankel, creator of the hit Skinnygirl franchise is at it again! Only this time instead of liquor, her newest product is a daily health supplement called the Skinnygirl Daily Cleanse and Restore. The cleanse, which Frankel says is meant to be a healthy part of your daily life, is packed with fiber and greens to help you stay full and to de-bloat. Here are the top three things to know about incorporating the Skinnygirl cleanse into your daily life.
3 Things to Know about the Skinnygirl Daily Cleanse and Restore
1. It's not a detoxification system. Frankel stresses that the Skinnygirl cleanse is not meant to replace meals, nor will it lead to significant weight loss. Instead, use it to supplement your daily routines by adding one package to an 8 oz. glass of water.
2. You don't have to change your diet while you're taking the Skinnygirl cleanse. The official website states that you can enjoy the same foods that you always do while you take the cleanse. However, Frankel also recommends eating as many whole foods as you can in order to maximize your body's abillity to process the cleanse.
3. If you do have any medical conditions or are taking any medications, you should consult with your doctor before beginning the Skinnygirl cleanse. Since the cleanse contains fiber, it may not be ideal for people with certain conditions, such as Chrohn's Disease. It is also not FDA approved at this time.
