It seems like every day there's a new form of social media being launched. Even though Google's last attempt to break into the social media world didn't end so successfully, that didn't stop it from launching Google + earlier today. What does Google + include? Google + is made up of Google Circles, Google Mobile, Google Hangouts, Google Huddle and Google Sparks. Confused yet? Don't worry, we'll break it down for you! Here are three ways you can use Google + to stay healthy, fit, and organized!
3 Ways to Stay Fit with Google +
1. Google Circles enables you to compartmentalize all of your groups of friends online. You can create a group for your co-workers, your best friends, or family members. We like this because it also allows you to share information and send messages only with whom you want to at that specific time. Use Google Circles to create a group for all your workout buddies and swap tips, tricks, schedules and more.
2. You can also use Google Sparks to aggregate information. Whatever you're interested in, Google Sparks has. Just add your interests, and you'll always have a steady flow of information coming your way. For example, if you want to see the latest workout trends or health news, you can add that to your "interests" and you'll be able to share news, videos, and stories with whichever circle of friends you want.
3. With Google Hangouts, you can use video chat to contact anyone in any of your circles of friends. And unlike facebook chat or MSN messenger, a video chat lets you know that someone is really there and able to talk, and not just "online" but away from his or her computer. When you want to make plans to meet up with someone, or if you need a pick-me-up and need a pep talk, use Google Hangouts to get connected to all your friends and continue to foster new friendships.
