Kathy Kaehler's Top Tips for Getting Bikini-Ready
Kathy Kaehler knows a thing or two about fitness. As an author, the Advising Fitness Expert for USANA Health Sciences, a workout DVD star, and celebrity trainer to A-listers like Julia Roberts, Drew Barrymore and Kim Kardashian, she definitely knows how to whip any body into tip-top shape. With summer quickly approaching, we recently chatted with Kaehler for her best tips to get swimsuit ready — just like the stars do!
Bikini-Ready Tips from Kathy Kaehler
1. Start your day off right. Kaehler says that the morning is a great time to start your day in the right direction. The first thing she recommends in the A.M.? Guzzling down water with the juice of a lemon. This mix rehydrates the body and helps cleanse your system!
2. Do the right moves. Even if you just have 30 minutes to work out, you can get a killer cardio and strength workout in. Kaehler says that it's all about choosing moves that get your heart rate up. "Try running in place, jumping jacks, jumping rope and moves that focus on your core," she says. Other options that her celeb clients love? Full-body planks, side planks, bicycle ab crunches, push-ups, walking and tricep dips!
3. Rock what you have. A women's No. 1 accessory is confidence, and good posture always signifies that you feel good about your body. "If you are going to wear it, flaunt it," Kaehler says. "Make sure your shoulders are back and your chest is out it."
