DIY Beauty Stocking Stuffers That Make Super Thoughtful Gifts

If you're looking for some thoughtful and affordable holiday gifts this season, homemade is the way to go—and we're not just talking about cookies. YouTube beauty blogger Stephanie Nadia has some unique DIY ideas that your natural-beauty loving friends will adore. Best of all, you likely have most of these ingredients on hand in your kitchen already. (If you'd rather go the ready-made route, fear not. DIY Lip Scrub

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • Sprinkle of decorative gold sugar
  • Sprinkle of cinnamon

How to make it: Mix all of the ingredients then scoop into small clear containers (you can order in bulk from Amazon, or find these at the drugstore) then add decorative stickers for a festive finish. 

Body Butter

  • 1 tbsp cocoa butter
  • 2 tbsp shea butter
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

How to make it: Mix all ingredients together (warming up if needed) then transfer into a glass jar and decorate with ribbon for gifting.

Makeup Remover

  • A few drops of primrose oil 
  • Coconut oil
  • Olive oil

How to make it: Add the primrose oil to your empty bottle for scent, then fill the rest of the bottle up with equal parts coconut oil and olive oil. Shake up the bottle to mix ingredients.

Eos Makeup Sticks

  • 2 tubes of plain chapstick
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp setting powder
  • 2 tbsp blush, highlighting powder, or bronzer (depending on product you want to make)

How to make it: Combine ingredients in a bowl (that you can throw away after) and melt in microwave for 10 seconds at a time until your mixture is completely liquified. Pop out the bottom frame of your empty eos lip balm container and screw it into the top cap, then pour in mixture. Let it chill in your freezer for at least an hour before opening.
