Step 1: Spray a detangler onto wet hair, followed by the Angelo David Sea Silk Styling Mousse to prepare for styling.
Step 2: Begin blow drying hair by section using a round brush. Then, create a deep side part.
Step 3: Run fingers through hair to create a messy feel, then sweep hair to one side. Take front section of hair and create small loose waves with a curling iron.
Step 4: With the rest, divide hair into two sections. Take a small portion of hair from one side then bring it to the other, repeating this process back and forth. It is okay if hair falls out of the braid or there are knots and bumps—we want the effortless feel.
Step 5: Continue braiding until you reached desired length, then secure the braid with an elastic. Back comb the braid with a brush lightly for a textured look.
Step 2: Blow dry hair with a product like Umberto Beverly Hills Controller to detangle and add shine. As you blow dry section by section secure each finished section in a pin curl, until the entire head is in pin curls. Secure with a double prong clip.
Step 3: Use the blow dryer to heat the pin curls. Let cool.
Step 4: Take the pins out and turn the head upside down. Tousle curls with the fingers.
Step 5: Pull the front back and secure with a simple clip.
Step 3: Using medium to large hot rollers, set entire head using an irregular pattern. Meaning, place the rollers in all different directions when setting for a more natural look. Use sections twice the size of the rollers as well.
Step 4: Leave rollers in for a minimum of 15 minutes.
Step 5: Take set out and rake fingers through your hair.
Step 6: Pull your sides back and secure with bobby pins or grips in an X pattern for extra security.
Step 1: If you have naturally curly hair, you can omit this step. For straight hair, using a heat protecting spray for hold, set on medium sized electric rollers and remove when cool.
Step 2: Run your fingers through the curls raking hair away from the face toward the center of the back of the head.
Step 3: Beginning at the top and working your way down, as you gather the hair together, pin the hair in place. Allow the curls to gently tousle and mist with a touchable holding spray like Sherri Jessee's Shaping Spray.
