Singer Natasha Beddingfield shares the can't-miss routine that helped her shape up for her big day.
Exercise relieves stress, improves your stamina, and gives you energy to spare-all benefits Natasha Beddingfield needed as she prepared for her spring 2009 wedding (not to mention concerts and a new album). "I wanted to look beautiful in my dress, so I started training with Ashley Borden," says the 28-year-old. "But I also wanted to get in shape for my honeymoon!"
Ashley used a variety of equipment and exercises to sculpt Natasha's muscles, but it's the strength circuit the trainer designed that really delivered results. "We switched between upper- and lower-body moves and did full-body toners, all of which kept Natasha's heart rate high," says Ashley. She also included core exercises that improved the singer's posture and breath control, both of which are important while performing. "Natasha really cares about her health and loves working out. She has such a good body image," says Ashley.
The at-home strength circuit she's created here incorporates the same exercises she used with Natasha. While the moves may not help you carry a tune, combine them with "Drop 10-15-20 Pounds," page 138, and they'll reveal your sexy, lean, gown-perfect muscles in plenty of time for the ceremony.
HOW IT WORKS
Three days a week, do 1 set of each move in order without resting. Repeat the circuit once or twice. Do cardio 4 or 5 days a week.
