1. Multitask with the sprint-distance Trek Women’s Triathlon Series (trekwomenstriathlonseries.com). Sign up for Palm Springs, California, on October 10. The pledges you collect go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

2. Cruise the streets on the YSC Tour de Pink (ysctourdepink.org) in October. Cycling routes range from single to multi-day 10- to 100-mile rides in Atlanta; Hershey, Pennsylvania; Duluth, Minnesota; and Thousand Oaks, California. Not in the area? Join the organization’s virtual ride and you can raise funds for the Young Survival Coalition from anywhere in the country.

3. Plow through powder during Tubbs’ Romp to Stomp Snowshoe Series (tubbsromptostomp.com). The 3K races and 5K treks are held in six cities nationwide, January through March. You’ll get to test a new pair of Tubbs snowshoes, and the money you raise will go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
