With two training and two Pilates sessions factored into my schedule each week (not to mention two jobs!), I’ve been feeling that I didn’t have even a minute to spare to focus on cardio. But the lack of movement on the scale confirms that I need to get back in gear. To help, I purchased a weekly calendar that breaks down each day into ½ hour segments from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and began writing in my cardio sessions, along with all of my other commitments. Seeing that 30 or 45 minutes blocked off is an instant visual reminder that there is time to fit it all in. Somehow, treating exercise like a doctor’s appointment is helping; I’ve already completed two cardio sessions this week!
