- 2 cups unsalted walnuts
- 14 dates, pitted
- 1/2 cup unsweetened, high-quality cocoa powder, like Hershey's
- 3 teaspoons filtered water
- 2 cups flaked whole-grain cereal
- Combine all ingredients except cereal in blender or food processor and blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Remove mixture and place in medium-sized bowl. Sprinkle cereal evenly across bottom of a baking sheet or plate. Use a measuring spoon to take 1 tablespoon of mixture at a time and form into round balls. Roll balls in cereal until cereal adheres to all surfaces. Refrigerate for several hours in sealed container before serving.
