When Height Does Matter
People are more apt to think freely in rooms
with high ceilings, according to researchers at the University
of Minnesota. Experts speculate that elevated ceilings
are associated with the sense of having endless possibilities,
whereas lower ceilings tend to stifle creativity. So whether
you want to write your novel or brainstorm ideas for your
next work project, do it in a space with lots of headroom.
