No-Cal Cucumber Cooler

A spa-inspired sipper that's simple yet sophisticated.

Ingredients

5 mint leaves
4 medium cucumbers
1 small lime
1 medium orange
6 cups cold water

Directions

Bruise mint leaves with a dull object to release flavor. Peel, seed, and slice the cucumbers. Wash and slice the lime and orange.

 

Place all ingredients along with cold water in a large pitcher.

Let steep in the refrigerator for 20-30 minutes. Pour liquid through a strainer into tall glasses. Garnish with a fresh mint leaf or lime slice. May be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.

 

Note: If left unstrained longer than 2 hours, liquid will become bitter.
