Green Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

For the base:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (thawed if frozen)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon flax seed

Toppings:

  • 1 strawberry, sliced
  • 10 blueberries
  • 5 raw pecan halves
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/4 teaspoon chia seed or 1 1/2 tablespoons ground flax meal

Directions

  1. Add smoothie base ingredients to a high-powered blender in the order listed. Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl and top with berries, pecans, coconut, and chia seeds.
