Rules SHAPE Magazine Cover and Las Vegas
Brit rocks a teeny two-piece on the cover of SHAPE Magazine’s June issue, revealing her new diet and fitness regime. That same year, she also confirms long-running rumors that she’ll be taking residency at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas for her new show, “Britney: Piece of Me”.

Britney Spears was born on December 2, 1981 and raised in Kentwood, LA. As a child, she took dance classes and was also gifted at gymnastics. But most of all, she loved to sing. At only 11 years old, she began performing on the hit TV show The All New Mickey Mouse Club alongside a then-unknown Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, Keri Russell, and Christina Aguilera. Her biggest break came when she was signed on as a Jive recording artist and by the year 2000, she had become an international success with the release of her first two solo studio albums.

As the “best-selling teenaged artists of all time”, Spears’ work has since earned numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award, a People’s Choice Award, six MTV Video Music Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The blonde beauty has also signed on to numerous multi-million dollar endorsement deals throughout her career with the likes of Pepsi, Candies, Sony, and Hasbro, as well as launching multiple top-selling fragrances. Film and TV roles have also followed suitCrossroads, Will & Grace, How I Met Your Mother, and Glee, in addition to a judging seat on The X Factor, are just a few.

Behind the scenes, Spears focus is on her her two kids with ex Kevin Federline: Sean Preston, born in 2005, and Jayden James, born in 2006. And as for that fierce fitness routine that keeps her looking like a Femme Fatale at all times, she swears by yoga, tennis, boxing, football, basketball, and Olympic-style interval training with celeb fitness guru, Tony Martinez. Kristen Aldridge
