Hey Jen! Your story was really motivating to me. I can relate, i want to take care of myself now because my dads had a heart attack, has diabetes, AND cancer. So, anyways im rooting for you, and your positive attitude is great! you can do it. =)
Jenny---You are such an amazing person. Beautiful at any weight and at any time. Your vlogs are inspiring as well as unbelievably "you". And that "you" is what everyone that knows you loves. You are such an inspiration to me and now, thanks to Shape's Fat to Fabulous program, you'll be able to inspire so many people. Hi Jenn - That was a great and truthful story. The hardest part of getting healthy is taking that "first step" and you have DONE that. I know that you will accomplish your goal. Your looking great! Love Mom Steinle
Thank you all so much for your support and kind words! You don't know how much it mean to me. I know Rachel and I are going to look and feel great as the months progress!
Jenny my love, Wow I must say everyday you amaze me more and more. You
have always been beautiful. Your devotion has inspired me to also eat
healthier and get back into exercising. Jenny has two challenges…Her
own personal goals and me. I am a 31 year old baby who doesn’t like
eating his veggies. I may only weigh 160 but that doesn’t mean I’m
healthy. So not only is Jenny doing this challenge for herself. But
she is also helping me. Jenny I love you for all you do for me.
love always. Glenn
Hey Jenny Love! It was so great seeing you today. You look better and better every time I see you. YOU are amazing!! Keep up the great work!! :) Love you! XOXOXOXOX, Rebecca

Beautiful Jen,
I am so proud of you and what an inspiration to me as I am currently not happy with myself at about 100 lbs over weight. I will watch your progress and continue to be inspired by your attitude to be healthy and happy. You so deserve it. Love you, Aunt Pat from Florida.
Rachel- You are doing so awesome! I think it is great that you are working so hard and doing so good...it is so tough to lose weight but you are so positive about it and I have no doubt you will reach your goal. Great job girlie! Keep it up :)
Hi Jenny - I'm writing this with tears. You definitely told my story. I feel so lost that I allowed myself to be so overweight. I don't even allow my husband to know my weight. I also lost enough to participate in my 1st ever 1/2 marathon. However, I haven't been able to lose anymore. I still need to lose 40 - 50 lbs. I am rooting for you and will closely foolw your progress.
Hey! I'm Pam, from Canada!
I only discovered your videos yesterday, but after hearing you talk, I think you are one of the first people I can relate to and I almost want to see if I can mirror your dedication on my end.
I"m sorry you are having such a hard week! You must be very nervous about tomorrow, but there are ways around certain obstacles. (I've done a lot of reading in my quest for fitness...)
One thing I learned is that it's important to have a Plan B if PLan A gets derailed. Family emergencies happen, things go wrong, deadline loom - things just HAPPEN. The thing is that it's important to know what to do to counteract it. For example, perhaps having some free weights and a skipping rope at home could be Plan B when you can't make it to the gym. Or running stairs in your house/apartment building. Or ever taking a quick loop around the block a couple of time for some mild movement and fresh air. There are many alternatives to guilt. Many many.
I have another though (oh no! not another one!). When meeting with the good doc and the trainer tomorrow, things may go smoother if you explain what's happened, but go prepared with a plan of how to handle it next time. That shows some great initiative!
And as for the guilt of the food indulgences, let it go. Forgive yourself. It happens. It takes a lot of work to get good at something, like eating a certain way. You're not expected to be perfect, you're just expected to be human (a dedicated human, but a human no less).
So all in all - don't be so hard on yourself! Life happens. Take it as one more learning opportunity on your journey to great health!
Pam in Canada
Go Jenn!! I totally have complete faith in you. You are going to sucseed!!! You have inspired me to change and become a healthier person. Thanks a million! :)
Rachel, you are doing great. I love your great jeans vlog. I think your goal setting is great, and give you lots of credit for goaling 3 pounds a week. I usually go for 2 myself. Take care. Good luck. I will be cheering you on! Lisa
Great job ladies! I have been following your video blogs and find them very encouraging as I try to shed the excess pounds. When is the month 2 update going to be posted?
hey Rachel, I am so excited you are doing this challenge. I've only just learned of it, and am going to start my own along with you. Good luck and keep up the fabulous progress!! -tesha
Thank you again for all the encouraging messages! I'm happy to share all aspects of this challenge with you. Please let me know if there is anything you'd like me talk about in the vlogs. You can always find me on Facebook (Jenny Steinle). Knowing you are all out there cheering us on is the best motivation!
Hi Jennifer! Today is the first day that I checked out this website and I came across your fit challenge. I have to say that it almost brought me to tears because it really hit home with me. I can sooo relate to your story because mine is very simillar. I started gaining weight after getting married because I too let myself go. I have a very thin husband who had very bad eating habits which I adopted as well. Anyway, long story short...here I am at 198 lbs. tired of feeling this way and looking for a solution. You are my inspiration. I know that you can do it & I will too!
Keep up the great work,
Lisa
Hey Jenn! I think your story is so real & relatable! Im 25, married & currently @ my heaviest weight (194), & no one to blame but myself for getting there. All thru high school I was a trim 145 thanks to basketball & track. Afterwards, my weight had fluctuated since. I joined a gym in March when I started my new job & lost 20 lbs (YAY!) but have allowed myself to get lazy & make excuses as to why i cant go workout. I guess my "wake-up call" moment was seeing a pic of me & friends @ the pool..OMG! I thought I was accepting of my curves, but I didnt like what I saw! Your story has inspired me to get back to the gym & get healthier! Aside from fitting back into my size 8 jeans, I wanna get healthy so I can conceieve baby #1 very soon! GOOD LUCK! i will keep ya posted on my wt loss too
Hey Jen! I found your story relatable & inspiring! Im 25, married almost 3yr & @ my heaviest wt (194) & know its my fault ive allowed it to happen. Thru-out highschool, I was a trim 145 thx 2 all the sports I played! After graduation, my weight fluctuated, but nothing major! Like you, after I got married, I started to gain, little by little! I guess its true that marriage makes ya fat or maybe it b/c i became comfortable in my own skin around my husband. I joined the gym in march after I started my new job & lost 20 lbs (yay) unfortunately ive gotten lazy & made excuses as 2 y i cant go work out. I guess my "ah-ha" moment was seeing a pic of me & friends @ the pool OMG! I thought Iw as becoming comfortable in my skin...but Im so imbarassed of the picture. Seeing me like that, makes me wonder how other people see me? I just wanted to say your story has inspired me to get healthier & loose weight! my goal is not only to fit into a size 8 again but to concieve my 1st baby very soon! Good luck to ya!
I'm rooting for you Jenny!! I'm working on my own goal, which oddly enough, will also land me at Beaches in Turks and Caicos, for my honeymoon!! I'm working on losing some weight for the wedding, and with that I'm hoping to nurture some healthy lifestyle changes that will stay with me throughout my new life as a married woman. When I"m having a tough day I come here to watch your Vlog because it's super inspirational and fun. Keep up the amazing work!! and I hope you continue to vlog and/or blog even after this challenge, I'll defintitely be a subscriber. Love, Andrea
Jennifer - I can totally relate to your story! After getting a divorce I was so relieved that I was out of a bad relationship that I celebrated a little too much with food and gained 20 lbs. Then I started dating and met my now husband and gained another 20 lbs (lots of fast food, beer & wine and no physical activity). So now at 195lbs I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life and finally ready to lose. I'm looking forward to following your journey.
Hi Jen - You look Marrrrrvelous! What an inspiration to us all. If you don't win this contest I will be shocked - you so deserve it. You are such a beautiful girl ( I know you're not a girl but I've known you since you were a young girl and if I call you a lady it makes me feel real old- OK so it's about me!) with a great wit, sharp mind and a big heart. You go girl! Love ya, Jeannette
wow, ladies...how inspiring. Both of your are truly INSPIRING!! Rachel, I like watching your videos and the way you express everything you do. I can see the drive in you and the deep passion that is seeping out every day!! Your last video made me want to cry. I know we all have those days when you just want to give up and call quits. Its hard I KNOW!! but hang in there girl. You look amazing and have given me the strength to keep going. Its nice to watch both you girl's videos and know that I am not alone. So THANKS!! and Keep up the good work!!
You both are an inspiration. you both will do awsome no matter what the outcome may be in the end what youve accomplished is the biggest reward you can get!! Good luck to both of you. Go for the gold!!! w

Hi Rachel,
Eating has been my "vice of choice" for about 2-3 years..Doing sports since I was 9, didn't change much..Finally 1 month ago, my poor back couldn't carry 220 lbs anymore..I became a bedridden mom, overnight. My son is 16 months old, and that night I made a resolution..Was going to do it for him..And started weightloss program immediately (I guess program nr 2 zillion :) ..I cut back all bad carbs, and started seeing the result even though can't do any sports now (forget sports, I can't walk properly)...I wish you best of luck..Stick to it - for your son..He needs you and he needs you now...
