My dinner party earlier this week was a smashing success. My friends loved the show I wrote and I felt gorgeous. But the real star of the evening was the yummy Moroccan-inspired grilled shrimp dish I made. A bunch of people have asked me for the recipe, so I thought I'd share it with you too:

In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons each of chopped cilantro, minced garlic, and chopped parsley; 1/4 teaspoon each of cayenne, cumin, paprika, and ground ginger; the juice of one lemon; and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Pour it over one pound of shelled, uncooked shrimp, and let marinate in the fridge for 2 to 3 hours. Then grill until done (2 to 3 minutes per side) and enjoy!
