Make over your workout
Last month, we kicked off the three-month Shape Your Best Life series, placing you on the fast track to living your healthiest life -- not to mention getting an energized and strong body you truly appreciate. You began with a fitness test, then significantly improved your strength and endurance with our challenging training moves.
This month, you'll pump up the momentum even more with a supertoning workout that introduces three fun-to-use tools for faster, even more effective results: a stability ball, medicine ball and cables. "Using this equipment, you'll see results much more quickly and burn more calories because your entire body is involved," says Michael Pauldine, N.A.S.M., certified personal trainer and owner of Fit2Peak for women in Los Angeles, who designed the program. The payoff, says Pauldine, is a higher resting metabolism, greater fitness and results you can see: sleek, toned abs, defined legs, sexy shoulders, arms and back. Combine this with Phase 2 of our cardio plan, and the changes you'll see in your body and fitness will be even greater. In just one month, when you take your fitness test again, you'll be another step closer to the feel-great body you crave.
How fit-for-life are you?
Before starting this month's workouts, take these fitness tests, as you did before and after last month's workouts. Retake the tests at the start of Month 3.
