Caroline Harris

Caroline Harris is an editorial assistant at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art where she writes and edits content for SFMOMA print and digital communications. The Bay Area native is enthusiastic about running, hiking and skiing.

She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2019, magna cum laude, and received several awards and grants to further her writing experience, including a research grant from The Explorers Club to circumnavigate Ireland via sea while writing about the poetry of the Irish-American diaspora and the link between poetry and migration.

After a student internship with the Library of Congress, she interned for David Stern and Stuart Gibbs, two Hollywood writers. She conducted research, edited manuscripts, and contributed creative suggestions.

As a freelance writer, she created fashion and lifestyle articles for More.com. She then worked for the Meredith Corporation, where she wrote for People, Real Simple, InStyle, Entertainment Weekly, Southern Living, Travel+Leisure, Food & Wine, Health, and HelloGiggles.

She's a registered Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher who cares about art, forest conservation, and environmentalism. She spends her time off volunteering with the Sierra Club where she writes letters to California newspaper editors about environmental concerns.
