Claudia Fisher

Claudia Fisher is a digital editorial director on Dotdash Meredith's commerce news and deals team. She's been writing, editing, and strategizing for women's lifestyle publications in New York for nearly a decade, with a special interest in beauty and style. Her writing has appeared across most of Dotdash Meredith's sites, including Real Simple, The Spruce, People, Travel + Leisure, Health, InStyle, Entertainment Weekly, Southern Living, Better Homes & Gardens, and Food & Wine. Her bylines have also appeared in Well+Good and Time.

She began her career in editorial at a then-startup called Elite Daily, where she was the second full-time editor hired. She went on to become a senior editor and has stayed in the women's lifestyle space since. She was a lifestyle news editor on Time's cross-brand news desk prior to the acquisition by Meredith, after which she transitioned to the role of digital deputy editor for Real Simple. After about a year at Real Simple, she switched over to the newly formed centralized e-commerce desk as deputy digital director across shopping content for all of Meredith's brands. Now as an editorial director on Dotdash Meredith's redesigned News and Deals Commerce team, she writes about beauty, style, wellness, and other lifestyle topics when she gets the chance.
