Title: Freelance writer and editor, cofounder of @towwn
Education: New York University

A freelance journalist, Kelly writes stories on a variety of topics, including celebrity profiles, health, travel, beauty, home decor, fashion, food, and fitness. Before trading the bright lights of Manhattan for the California sunshine, Kelly was an editor at Self magazine for eight years.

Her articles have appeared in magazines such as Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Sunset, Women's Health, Self, Shape, Fitness, Details, Redbook, Martha Stewart Living, C Magazine, and LA Confidential, as well as websites Refinery29, Wired.com, CNTraveler.com, and Vogue.com.

Kelly’s been nominated for three National Magazine Awards, with her feature "How Not to Get Pregnant" winning Cosmopolitan their first-ever ASME for personal service in 2014.

When she’s not researching magazine stories, Kelly works as a brand copywriter and creative content strategist. In 2021, she co-founded towwn (https://www.instagram.com/towwn), a digital resource dedicated to finding sustainable solutions to burnout for both people + planet.
