Markham received reporting awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and the Maryland, Delaware, and D.C. Press Association. Today, Markham is a reporter at Men’s Health Magazine. Prior to that, he was staff writer at The Washington Examiner.

Markham attended the University of Michigan where he earned his bachelor’s degree in English. Markham attended Northwestern University for graduate school where he earned his master’s degree in Journalism.
