Rachel brings more than 20 years of professional experience as a writer and editor. She began her career as a research assistant and fact checker for Modern Bride, CosmoGirl, and SmartMoney magazines. She served as a freelance entertainment columnist for the amNew York and New York Resident newspapers.

She was an associate editor and education writer for two years for Sessions. edu. From there, she moved to BMCC (City University of New York), where she worked in the public affairs office, writing and editing online content and brochures and handling media requests.

For the past eight years, she has been a full-time freelance writer and editor. Much of her current writing covers pregnancy, early childhood, and parenting topics.
