Savala Nolan is an author and lecturer. Her book, Don't Let It Get You Down: Essays on Race, Gender and the Body was published by Simon & Schuster in July 2021. She and her writing about race, gender, and culture have been featured in the New York Times Book Review, Vogue, Time, NPR, Harper's Magazine, the Huffington Post, Forbes, and more. She is executive director of the Thelton E. Henderson Center for Social Justice at UC Berkeley School of Law.
