Erin Andrews Named Co-Host of Dancing With the Stars

The season hasn't even started yet, and there's already been an unexpected elimination from Dancing With the StarsPeople magazine has confirmed that Fox sports reporter Erin Andrews will replace Brooke Burke-Charvet as Tom Bergeron's co-host. [Tweet the news!]

Andrews, 35, was a contestant on the 10th season of the show and danced with pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They placed third. 

The announcement was made official shortly after Burke-Charvet, 42, released a statement saying that she had been let go from the hit show. In it, she said, “I’ve seen my fair share of shocking eliminations in the ballroom, but this one takes the cake.”
