Helen Mirren proves that age really is just a number. At 68, the British star is still rocking it (who could forget that infamous bikini photo from 2008?), and now she's sharing her fitness secrets with the world.

The Queen star, who will turn 69 on Saturday, says she owes her famous physqiue to a 12-minute workout she learned from the Canadian Royal Air Force, Yahoo! Celebrity reports. The regimen, which was designed in the 1950s, includes 10 basic exercises including knee raises, sit-ups, chest raises, arm circles, leg raises, running, and hopping in place. The ultimate total-body workout, it doesn't require any equipment and can be done on the fly, making it perfect for active women.

"It is the exercise I have done off and on my whole life. It just very gently gets you fit," Mirren said. "Two weeks of doing that and you think: 'Yeah, I could go to the gym now.'"

Still, Mirren remains modest about that famous red bikini shot, saying, "That photograph will haunt me for the rest of my life," and that it was solely due to "flattering angles."
