How Kate Upton Got in Shape for Her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition Cover


It may be the middle of winter, but Sports Illustrated is heating things up! The latest edition of the magazine's famed Swimsuit Edition just hit newsstands with gorgeous supermodel Kate Upton on the cover for the second year in a row, and no surprise, she looks nothing short of amazing.

Last year Upton worked with celeb trainer Justin Gelband to slim down and tone up using Gelband's "ModelFit" method, a mix of circuit training that included Pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and exercises with a Bosu ball or resitance band.

"Kate is one in a million! She always puts in a whole-hearted effort to her workouts and is always ready to work,” Gelband told SHAPE. “She would put in seven days a week if I let her! She knows how to get it done and is so humble, sweet yet tough, and educated at the same time.”
