The Royal Family Is Now on Twitter!

Corbis Images

Good news: A new Twitter account, @KensingtonRoyal—which represents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and Prince Harry—is here. Bad news: The focus is on “their work and the Royal Foundation,” so we most likely won’t be seeing cute pictures of Will and Kate’s sporty datesGeorge acting like a boss baby, or finding out who Prince Harry is dating and when he will propose. Sigh.

And unfortunately, as with @BritishMonarchy—the official account of the Queen and the Buckingham Palace—and @ClarenceHouse, the account of the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall (that's Charles and Camilla in non-monarchy speak), we probably also won't be seeing actual tweets from Will, Kate, or Harry themselves. (Still, a girl can dream.) So follow along for formal updates—or check out these funny parody accounts below.

1. @Queen_UK: A parody account of Queen Elizabeth that boasts 1.23 million followers.

2. @Charles_HRH: A not-so-verified account for Prince Charles.

3. @HRHCatherine: Kate Middleton's parody account.

4. @IAmRoyalBaby: Baby George's fake account.
