Celebrate the silly holiday with a tasty low-cal whipped cream cocktail in hand
In honor of the birthday of Reddi-wip founder Aaron Lapin, every January 5 is National Whipped Cream Day, a day for celebrating the sweet stuff that turns ice cream into a sundae and peaches into peaches and cream.
This year take an adult approach to an admittedly childish holiday with a whipped cream cocktail. With a few smart moves, you can keep your grown-up “sundae” under 200 calories. Dessert and drinks in one? Now we don’t have to choose!
Approximately 190 calories per serving
2 parts Pinnacle® Whipped® Vodka
1 part diet pomegranate juice (try Pom Lite)
1 part lime juice
Citrus peel, for garnish (optional)
1 dollop fat-free whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
Shake first three ingredients over ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with citrus garnish or whipped cream.
