It’s surprisingly easy, vegan, and tastes just like the original!
If you’ve been following Fit Foodies you know I’ve become very interested in the health benefits of a raw diet and looking for easy ways to incorporate raw foods into my every day life. After hearing about how good the Caesar salad is at Quintessence, a raw vegan restaurant in New York City, it got my wheels turning.
Watch the video below from Blythe Raw Live to see how to make a raw Caesar salad at home. Not only is this recipe 100 percent plant-based, it’s more filling than a traditional Caesar salad thanks to an increase in protein and healthy fat. Plus, because there’s no dairy or anchovies the recipe lasts for about a week in the refrigerator. To replace the salty briney flavor of the anchovies, try topping your salad with capers, olives, or whole peppercorns in vinegar for an even stronger flavor. See, you really don’t have to give up your favorites to get the benefits of raw!

I’m here to share what works for me—and where I need a little help from you.
