I’ve always loved them because they taste amazing, but she explained that they’re also packed with antioxidants. So in addition to making my oatmeal and yogurt a lot yummier, they can also reduce inflammation, improve my immune system, and help prevent heart disease and cancer. And since blueberries are in season, I’m stocking up on them every week at the farmer's market and adding them to almost everything I can think of, including smoothies, muffins, and pancakes. I even drop a few into a glass of prosecco to make a refreshing and light cocktail.
