Lately I’ve been trying to find ways to break out of my typical workout rut. Here’s how I did it today: I warmed up by dancing along to three songs on Nintendo Wii’s Just Dance 2. That got my heart beating pretty fast. Then I did my usual strength training exercises from Whitney, but in between each set I danced to a song from the Michael Jackson Experience game—it kept my heart rate up and gave me something to look forward to. Afterwards I still needed some extra cardio, so I wrapped up with the Gold’s Gym Boxing game’s 35-minute routine. By the time I was done, I’d logged more than an hour on the Wii and finished the complete strength workout. And the best part of all is that it was fun!
