My schedule is getting packed now that the holiday season is in full swing and it’s hard to fit in exercise. My cardio of choice is walking—I aim for 12,000 steps every day—but that takes up too much time now. So instead of shortening my route, I’ve started adding in intervals of jogging so I can finish faster. I’m surprised by how much I like it! I’d tried running before, but it hurt my heels and knees. I’m having none of those problems now—yet another benefit of losing 40 pounds.
