In the running

During this week’s session my personal trainer, Whitney Cole, told me she wanted to go for a jog. “Yeah right,” I thought. But she took off and I was forced to run to keep up with her. We went up my street to the corner, all the way down the main street, back down a side street, then returned to my house. And I didn’t stop jogging the entire time—even though there were some pretty big hills along the way! Then we grabbed my dog, Snookie, walked for 10 minutes or so to cool down, and finished with a series of stretches. This may not sound like that big of a deal, but I’ve never run that long without stopping before. It’s hard for me to even put into words the sense of pride I feel right now. I just had to share it with you guys!
