Starving myself with the goal of getting skinny fast used to be how I went about losing weight, and recently I thought I’d give it another shot. I just wasn’t losing weight as fast as I wanted to and figured that spending a few days drinking diet shakes would speed my progress up. But it was horrible. My body is so used to getting wholesome food that it practically shut down without it. I immediately switched back to my healthy eating plan and realized I need to be a little more patient with myself. To get where I want will take hard work and time, but it will also be worth it.
