Today I met with my life coach, Michelle Hastie, for the first time. We’re going to be having our consultations over the phone, so I asked her to come to my house so we could meet face-to-face at least once. I made tea and we talked about my goals and concerns. She immediately filled me in on what she’s going to have me do over the next year. First, I’m going to get back in touch with myself (“Connect to your feminine” is what she calls it). Second, I need to start dancing like nobody is watching. This will help me get in touch with my body and its movements. Next, I need to make friends with food (her philosophy is to not give food a good or bad label). And lastly, I’ll learn to let go of judgments—towards myself and others.
