Caroline Wozniacki's Workout Secrets
Caroline Wozniacki is a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court. And with the U.S. Open just weeks away, we can't wait to see her play on the courts in New York. With a No. 1 ranking and a number of tennis titles under her belt, we got the workout secrets as to how she stays so fit on the court and off!
The 3 Workout Secrets of Caroline Wozniacki
1. Boxing. Wozniacki forgoes usual weight-training for boxing with a heavy bag. Punching not only tones and strengthens her arms and back, but it also helps improve her hand-eye coordination for her tennis game.
2. Sprint intervals. Wozniacki has to keep her cardio endurance high to endure long tennis matches. She uses the treadmill to run miles, working in sprint intervals to really boost her fitness.
3. Building muscle memory with drills. Of course Wozniacki works out on the court, too! Through a series of drills she works on volleying, returning and serving for hours a day!
