Nina Earl Westbrook and Russell Westbrook both played b-ball for UCLA where they met. The pair got married in 2015 and had their first child, Noah, in 2017. Russell Westbrook now plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. Nina Earl Westbrook no longer plays, but we'd like to think that the two shoot hoops with each other from time to time.

Olympic gold medalist Sanya Richards-Ross and former NFL-er Aaron Ross met as students at the University of Texas at Austin in 2003, married in 2010, and had their first child, Aaron Jermaine II, in 2017.
"If someone asked me if I believed in love at first sight before I met Sanya, I would kind of think it was like a fairy tale," Ross told the Florida Times-Union
. "But from the first time I've seen her, I wanted her. I've been wanting her even more ever since."

On the podcast Planet Futbol with Grant Wahl, Rapinoe shared that the two like to watch each other play, adding "She's a little upset that my sport's outside and she has to sit outside instead of sitting inside in a nice air-conditioned or heated gym, which is a very fair point."

about meeting May-Treanor: "We met in November 2003 at a sports therapy center in Orange, CA. I was rehabbing my knee, and she was there training. I had no idea who she was. I went home and told my little brother, Markell, I was planning to ask out some volleyball player. I called her Missy May. He's like, 'What's with you, man? You've got problems. She's one of the most famous players in the world.'"
